A member of Reset Era has come forward and said that the upcoming Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch system still suffers with compressed audio. People on various forums reported this with the Dark Souls Remastered beta but it seems as though it features in the full game and wasn’t a way to get the file-size of the beta down. It might be something that could eventually be patched.

I’m guessing that there will be a day one patch for when the game comes out (not the coming out of the closet ‘coming out’) since review copies don’t have day one patches or they lack some features from day one copies.
Can’t be worse than Shenmue 1 & 2 HD xP (I know they’ve couldn’t do anything about it though)
Not a big deal. I honestly didn’t even notice a difference when playing the demo. I’ve only played it on pc though. And the pc port of the original version is pretty horrendous without fixing it via mods.
