Japan: Pokemon Let’s GO! Comfortably Sails To Number One

The latest video game charts are now in from Japan courtesy of the team at sales tracker, Media Create. The latest Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch launched and they sold 661,240 units at retail within their first three days of release, which saw them comfortably sail to the number one spot this week. Nintendo Switch hardware sales saw a dramatic increase as Nintendo shifted 200,850 units whereas the previous week they sold 54,235.

  1. Fantastic sales! I expected a big jump in hardware sales but not quite that large. I’m really enjoying Let’s Go too and thats easily one of the biggest launches of the year. Not as big as the monster hunter world launch but will definitely sell more than that game overall and is on a lower install base of course.
