To celebrate the recent launch of Yoshi’s Crafted World, Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer that gives you an overview of the newly-released platformer. You can check it out in the embedded video below. Available now on Nintendo Switch, Yoshi’s latest outing invites players to jump into an adventure within a colorful world made of everyday objects, such as boxes and paper cups. Yoshi is equipped with his iconic ability that allows him to gobble enemies and turn them into eggs, which can be tossed to strike enemies or clear paths.

Now I suddenly remember Yoshi’s Island on the SNES.
I got to say the whole collecting and creativity there is in Yoshi’s Crafted World is fantastic.
I wouldn’t be surprised if people will say this game is one of the best platformers to grace the gaming space.
And yeah, it does emit some serious LittleBigPlanet vibe.

It got very low numbers in japanese charts. I would be happier if they continue with the IP.
Yeah, Yoshi games usually don’t sell well in Japan. I guess there’s just a bigger audience for Yoshi’s games in the west.
