Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition coming to Nintendo Switch 27th September

Xbox Games Studio and Moon Studios are bringing the brilliant Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition to the Nintendo Switch system. The gorgeous 2D platformer was announced during this afternoon’s Indie World presentation. You will be able to purchase Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition on 27th September 2019.

Update: the framerate for both docked and undocked have been revealed and it’s 1080p and 60fps docked and 720p and 60fps undocked.

  1. Any word on a physical version? I’m still getting it no matter what, but a physical version would be preferable. Did XBox get a physical version?

      1. Here’s to hoping! I know Cuphead will eventually, so I’ll probably wait for Ori physical. It’s not like the digital version will disappear, plus I’ve already got a backlog to play lol

  2. This Nindies might have been one of my least favorite in recent memory but there were still so many games that interested me. I must say Indie developers sure have the most unique games in terms of visuals and gameplay. It’s refreshing.
Trine 4 though…. ugh, looked like a Genesis game (I know I’m over exaggerating but it looked way downgraded :(

That said Ori and Eastward and the Touryest look like must haves. Torchlight 2 and Roki have my interest as well. Lots of stuff to look forward to!

    1. I’m sure plenty of people will still purchase. Their different types of games so it won’t be all too bad although I do agree next month is packed with way too many games. Not sure why everyone chose September lol
