  1. Fire emblem doing selling over 2 million really warms my heart seeing as the series couldn’t even sell half a million during the radiant dawn era of games (and FE:Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are my favorites in the series).

Three houses isn’t perfect as I felt like the monastery got old on repeat playthroughs, but the story and gameplay was really interesting any enjoyable to me, and I can’t wait for the dlc to come!!!!

    1. If you thought that the Tellius era was bad you should look at Shadow Dragon sales – I started loosing hope in the franchise when I saw that game
And yes, the monastery really broke the tension in certain times imho, it should be removed or cut shorter in future games

    Most games are Mario games

    1. I don’t think this accounts for Digital Sales, so maybe it sold even better than we thought? So far though, it’s on the right track to overtake Fates. Either way, can’t complain. It sells well enough and has a dedicated enough market for Nintendo to keep supporting it.

      1. I thought so too especially after the success of the 3DS games and Heroes on the phone.

Funny how Linkโ€™s Awakening already surpassed FEโ€™s sales despite coming months after it and used way more resources to make.

Hope the DLCโ€™s would make it regain sales momentum during the holiday season.

        1. Yeah, Three Houses got initially delayed, so I don’t hope that was because Nintendo was disappointed in Echoes sales. I would hate to see the frequency of FE games releases adjusted down. I know Intelligent would like to do an Echoes overhaul of Binding Blade, and I want it yesterday xP

      2. How did New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe sell so much?? Isn’t it literally a direct port (minus the new crown feature) of the last version?

        1. Beats me…

Parents probably do not realize that these are games that are not entirely new and buy them for their kids.
