A Smash Ultimate presentation for Terry Bogard will take place on November 6th, version 6.0 coming “soon”

Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard was confirmed to be the next Smash Ultimate DLC Fighter a couple of months ago, but we don’t know much about how he’ll play in the game. Well, that is about to change. Nintendo has announced that a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation “featuring an in-depth look at upcoming DLC Fighter, Terry Bogard from the FATAL FURY series” will air on November 6th at 8am Eastern/5am Pacific. It was also confirmed that version 6.0 of the game will “arrive soon” with “fighter adjustments”. The official Nintendo Versus tweets about the matter can be seen down below.

      1. That’s actually better news imo. 45 minutes either means Terry is pretty complex or they’ve got some unannounced additions to the game.

Worst case scenario, Sakurai busts out his Neo Geo for 20 minutes.

  1. I’m excited for two things
*Thank gawd this isn’t a direct (I love smash and all, but smash being in a direct or having it’s own direct always seem way to over hype, I love how we get a inside look on how sakurai sees and plays the character and all the other details)
*We have room for a first party game direct ( the last direct wasn’t too long ago, but seperate directs for certain games are not myths hopefully we can see some more info on it this month since we are getting quite close to its release day)

Did you know the video leak that is around for just 2 days?

  2. 45 minutes is a long time to go over a potentially simple fighter like Terry, even with a stage rundown, music, and mii costumes.
Unless Sakurai’s about to call every KoF cameo a poor soul I think we’ll be getting some surprises in this one.
Likely nothing about new fighters after Terry, but Terry himself might be a bit more thought out than just one to one his Fatal Fury incarnation, which is exciting.

  3. It might be that Nintendo do drop a hint of another dlc fighter now that they’ve confirmed more are coming and then they’ll release a purchasable package again.
Makes sense to bring in some more readys for smash

  4. I know they said that there would be no more game modes, but a real All Stars mode, or Break The Targets would be nice. Adventure Mode would be too much to hope for, but a more condensed version similar to the 3DS Smash Run would be great too.

    Also, Shantae for Smash!
