The Game Awards 2019 will have around 10 new game announcements

We are nearing ever closer to the annual The Game Awards show which takes place on Friday 13th December. Presenter and organiser Geoff Keighley has revealed that we should expect around ten brand new game reveals which is rather exciting. Hopefully a number of these will arrive on the Nintendo Switch platform.

We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show—I think there are around 10 new games / projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet. As always the internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show… but it sure is fun to read.”

    1. Mr.Krabs with a mustache

I would really like Mario galaxy 3, I prefer the galaxy games a lot more than the odyssey games but I feel like odyssey or something to do with sunshine is a lot more likely.

  1. I like how the game awards becomes a mini E3 to get people to tune in. I’m sure a few people care about the actual awards show, but I definitely wouldn’t be watching if they didn’t have new games/announcements to show.

    1. My favorite part is the orchestra. Hearing an orchestrated medley of current video game music just does something to me.

      1. It is neat yeah, I unfortunately barely ever play any of the game of the year nominations so the songs don’t have any pull for me.
Even this year with the two games I’ve played on there we’ll hear Lifelight, a song I don’t even really like, and generic ambient horror themes in the RE2 remake.

        1. This made me laugh, cause you aren’t wrong.

Usually the first half of the show has a medley that’s not exclusive to GOTY nominees though. That tends to be my favorite.

  2. The only major problem I have with The Game Awards is in order to be 100% in the know about stuff as they are revealed, it is required to watch the entire stream from start to finish. What they really should do is have a “World Premiere” segment where all the new announcements are condensed into 1 presentation similar to Nintendo Directs. This way people can tune in at the allotted time for said presentation and not have to sit through all the stuff they just don’t care about.
If the entire event was only around 1 hour I wouldn’t mind but the entire stream lasts for at least 4 hours which is too long to expect people to sit through.

    1. Which is why I just wait for the show to be over. The whole show is just way too cringe honestly lol I tried to watch it last year but had to change it, almost had an anxiety attack from the cringe lol /s

        1. It isn’t. If MKT counted as a main line mario kart, then so would the other spin-offs (meaning MK8 wouldn’t actually be MK8).

  4. 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓

I don’t even know what to expect 😂

  5. Since the KH3 Remind DLC trailer for December dropped yesterday with the words Preorder Now at the end but no bloody release date still, I’m hoping they are saving the release date for TGA. Not sure I’ll be watching the whole event this year, though, and will just watch the game trailers that come out of the event instead. I don’t got time for a 4 hour show that isn’t a WWE PPV these days. I got my YouTube subscriptions that take up enough of my time. That & I’m trying to make more time for my gaming.
