Nintendo has decided to release a brand new update for Tetris 99. This brings the game to version 2.1.0. It’s not a small update at all. The official Nintendo Versus Twitter account says that the update added a new Team Battle Mode, new button configuration options, user emblems and even the ability to redeem 4 themes that appeared in previous Maximus Cup events. When they say “ability to redeem 4 themes from past Maximus Cup events,” what does that mean? How do you “redeem” them?
With the tickets you earn in the daily challenges. Themes are normally 15 tickets but the maximus themes are 30 if you missed them from the previous events.
