Japan: Nintendo Switch family sold 38,380 units this week

The latest hardware and software charts are now in from Japan courtesy of the team at Famitsu. Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch continues to be a force to reckoned with shifting an impressive 129,659 copies at retail during the period of 11th May to 17th May. There was a new entry in the top ten this week and it was Dragon Quest X All In One Package Version 1-5 for the Switch which shifted 5,657 copies. Here’s the best-sellers this week:

    1. I think that Pokémon Red/Blue combined are the top selling ones. A few years ago I read an article that said that they sold almost 7 million units combined, and that article was from like 2013, and we know that no 3DS/Switch game has reached those numbers in Japan
