Ubisoft’s Gods and Monsters, which is coming to Nintendo Switch, was revealed at E3 last year and there was understandably a lot of excitement around the announcement as many were quick to point out the similarities between it and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We’re now way past its initial release date of February 2020, but due to Google Stadia accidentally releasing an early build of the game on its platform recently, some players got to try it out.
Take a look at the clips below. You can see the expansive world that players will get to explore and there’s even a stamina wheel which may be familiar to some.
We’ll keep a close eye out for any more details about the game like its launch date on Switch or any development progress. But for now, check out the videos below to see the game in action (bearing in mind, this is most likely a very early build and is subject to change).

Looks an awful lot like alpha footage to me, but can imagine it to be fun, if they put some (or a lot) of polish onto it.
Seems to not only look similar to Breath of the Wild, but also play similar to it.
Honestly not even opposed to that. Could be fun.
I hope they cite Breath of the Wild in the bibliography… seems a bit of a copy-paste
The breath of the Wild spinoff needs a little bit more polish.
F=MA.
I’m sorry, but it looks awful.
Based on what is probably leaked alpha footage yes. Usually we get fancy trailers and better gameplay footage than fighting a single random enemy out of context on an early gamebuild
I wish Ubisoft would port Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell to Nintendo Switch. I haven’t brought a game from Ubisoft since 2014.
