Reverse horror game Carrion coming to Nintendo Switch 23rd July

Devolver Digital, American video game publisher which is well renowned for its tongue-in-cheek PR, hosted its own online Direct presentation last night showing off some cool-looking games. One of them making its way to Nintendo’s hybrid console is Carrion and it’s out 23rd July. The ‘reverse horror game’ is from developer Phobia Game Studio and you can check out the description below; I’ve also included the trailer should you wish to check it out in action.

Carrion is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.

  1. This looks like it was heavily inspired by Out of this World and the original Prince of Persia on DOS in terms of graphics, two of my all time favorite games growing up, and I can not be more excited for this!
