The NPD Group has revealed the top ten best-selling Nintendo games (physical sales) in US history. It is certainly an interesting list especially because the Wii fitness title Wii Fit is No.1 and the mini-games title which came bundled with an additional Wii Remote Wii Play is No.2. The entire top five comprises of titles from the Wii library, which just goes to show how popular that console was in the United States and beyond. Here’s the top ten best-selling Nintendo games in the USA:

- Wii Play
- Mario Kart Wii
- Wii Fit Plus
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Super Smash Bros
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Really surprised that the original Smash Bros is in there. Didn’t realise it had sold that much considering it was on the N64
It isn’t the original Smash on its own, its the original Smash, 3ds Smash, and Wii U smash together.

The description says “physical sales in the US”. Since Wii Sports was a pack-in title in the US, I’m assuming it didn’t count a physical sale.
Im suprised Nintendo land didnt come in first since it came with every Wii.
