Dual Shockers has looked at the Amazon’s Best Sellers of the year charts in both the United States and the United Kingdom and it was Nintendo who came out on top in 2020. It was Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch which dominated the charts in both regions. In the United States there were seven games in the top ten for the Switch platform in 2020. The UK is a slightly different story with four Switch exclusives in the top ten, but Nintendo has always found it tricky to conquer the UK. Still both charts will be very encouraging to Nintendo! Here they are:
Amazon US:
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Physical)
- Super Mario 3D All-Stars
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Digital)
- Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4)
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
- The Last of Us Part II
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Amazon UK:
- Animal Crossing New Horizons
- FIFA 21 (PS4)
- Minecraft (Switch)
- Super Mario 3D All-Stars
- FIFA 21 (Xbox One)
- Just Dance 2021 (Switch)
- The Last of Us Part II
- Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4)
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Xbox One)
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (PS4)
So glad that I didn’t buy into the Cyberpunk hype, I just had a feeling when it kept getting delay after delay. There was probably something else to me that was a red flag since I didn’t have a problem with getting KH3 on release, but I can’t think of any.
Yup, me too!
Thankfully I didn’t either. I knew something was up when I saw that Amazon was selling the PS4 version for $10 less.
Cyberpunk is an incomplete game. The PS5 version in April should patch things up. They should’ve called the PS4 version “early access” due to how flawed the game is at its current state.
