Japan: Famitsu awards Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, 36/40

The latest edition of Weekly Famitsu is now available to subscribers in Japan. This week’s edition contains the first published review for the upcoming highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch title Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. One of the Famitsu reviewers awarded the game a perfect ten and two of them awarded it a nine and the fourth gave it an eight out ten. The spooky Little Nightmares II received 33/40. Here’s all this week reviews:

  • Little Nightmares II (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/8/8/9 [33/40]
  • New Star Manager (PS4, Switch) – 7/8/7/8 [30/40]
  • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury (Switch) – 9/9/8/10 [36/40]

  1. I am so ready for this to come out! I already know some friends who I can get together with.
    Of course, I’ll probably still enjoy it on my own too.

      1. I honestly don’t trust Famitsu. Very few games score less than 30. And if it’s a first party Nintendo games it is very likely to be around 35.

  2. Always liked the P wing from Super Mario bros 3, best power-up imo.
    Was thinking about getting Mario Odyssey, Super Mario bros 3 was my last Mario game lol haven’t played Mario in ages.
