Dataminers have been hard at work looking at the most recent update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch system. They have discovered that Version 1.11 features various suggestions that Nintendo could be working on a Museum Cafe. One of the most requested features players have wanted to see in the game is the mighty Brewster and his lovely Museum Cafe. Here’s what the team at Animal Crossing World have discovered from the datamine:
“A camera parameter change was made to the code reference ‘IdrMuseumCafe‘ in Version 1.11. This follows additions in the previous Version 1.10 update where new camera settings for ‘IdrMuseumCafe‘ were spotted, as well as a new reference to a third type of Museum entrance known as ‘IdrMuseumEnt03‘.
[In] Version 1.11, more progress has been found on that ‘MuseumLevel‘ finding — a very curious ‘cNpcMemory:TalkProgressMuseumBuiltCafe‘ flag is now associated and seen in the EventFlow for building the Museum. Of course, this isn’t actually used in any way.
Presumably, this could be used to effect some dialogue with villagers or special characters on your island after the Museum has been expanded to build the Cafe. That’s just our interpretation though and shouldn’t be treated as fact.“
Brewster cafe has been in the datamine a couple of times plus the villagers have already hinted it before all we have to do is wait.

He sure had better be! Brewster is my favourite AC Character and it feels empty without him.
Ac will still feel empty even if he isn’t added at least, I mean the minigames in new leaf is the main reason new leaf lasted alot longer.
To be fair, there are rumours that the game is gonna be given a huge content update similar to AC:NL so hopefully that rumour will come true.
Of course, take that with a grain of salt.

I know right? When I found out he and the cafe wasn’t in the game I was like “What!? That’s ridiculous! He’d better be in 1 of the free updates!”
As an avid coffee lover I can firmly say that this would be an excellent addition to the game. I always liked going there after completing daily tasks and such.
It’s silly but there’s something MaGiCaL about that Brewster and his Java.
I hope so! The game needs some spice, a pumpkin spice latte. By now it is September.
