Venture Beat recently had the opportunity to chat with JC Smith, the senior director of consumer marketing at The Pokemon Company International, about all things Pokemon. The wide ranging chat turned to the forthcoming Pokemon Arceus which looks like a fresh start for the long-running franchise. Mr. Smith says that the team have plenty to share about the game when the time is right and we should be hearing more about the ambitious Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch soon. Pokemon Arceus launches in January 2022.
GamesBeat: We also have Pokémon Legends: Arceus coming out next year. When do you think we’ll hear more about that?
Smith: That one, we have a robust rollout, but not a lot that I can share at this time. But the team has a lot of great things to share, and you’ll be hearing from us soon.
Finally, a comment section where I made a comment before the anti Avery, Hop, and Allister spammer showed up. Anyway, gamefreak needs to spoil lots of things about the pearl remake and legends Arceus in twitter posts and trailers because I may quickly lose interest in those games if they don’t.

Not gonna disagree with that. A good team for Misty is Dugtrio, Exeggutor, Starmie, Golduck, Vaporeon, and Gyarados.
