  1. Now the ps4 cannot even move software. The ps5 is finished in Japan. This could be the beginning of the end for them . CAPCOM, Square,Namco and Sega are all businesses. If they see that there games will not make money for them on a Sony platform. Then they will stop making games for them. Ask the wii.u. third parties go where the money is. Loyalty only lasts so long.

    1. They’ll won’t completely deop the system, simply because they don’t want to limit certain games by not putting them on the current standard in terms of modern power, but at the same time companies have started realizing how much the budget for AAA games have ballooned. Making games at least time exclusive for the Switch gives them a perfect excuse to produce more lower budget, but still high quality, games. Like how it was during the PS2/PS3. I wouldn’t be surprised if at E3 next year the direct will be filled with these type of titles.

    2. Sony shifted 115m PS4s mate. Their work is done for that part.
PS5 will dominate outside of Japan, its been known for years that Sony is making a bigger play for the west and the demand for PS5 is huge

      1. The switch is at 90 million. The ps5 will NEVER catch it. Dominate? Where? the switch is the number one selling machine in the US and many other countries. Capcom gave switch MH RISE and Stoires 2 . Ace attorney and ghouls and ghost. All this year. All Capcom gave ps5 is RE VILLAGE. that is it. Dominate? What a joke. I do not know what fantasy charts you are going by. I go by the real ones and the switch is the number selling system period
The switch is the best selling 9th gen system. And now Sega has SMGTV .SONIC COLORS and monkey ball for switch. What games do they have for ps5 this year? NOTHING. see 3rd parties in the west like Capcom and sega who are owned by Japanese companies are making ps4 ports but not ps5.. see how that works? Like I said 3rd parties are loyal to no one. The ps5 is in trouble. Alot of 3rd parties have nothing planned for the ps5. Sony is on its way to lose the 9th gen console wars. Next time you want to say demeaning, do your home work and get your facts straight.

        1. You’re a fiesty little one, aren’t you.

Firstly, I am really happy about the Switches success, no need to get so defensive.
The PS5 is only getting started, its been out for less than a year. I’m not arguing it will beat the Switch. I’m arguing against your points that “this could be the end for them (Sony)”.

So the next time you want to write down a ridiculous opinion, just have a little think.

          1. I do think. You try it. It is bombing in Japan and I am saying I think it is a bad idea for Sony to ignore Japan. Grow up.

  2. I think this is less Nintendo’s success and more shows how much Sony is just dumping the Japanese market to focus on the west. Plus, Nintendo needs some competition to help push them along, so we don’t want them to completely roll over the competition.

  3. This is unprecedented news, actually. The Switch is quite possibly Nintendo’s best system ever made. This news also speaks volumes on the shortage of PS5s. For those saying Sony is dead: hardly.
