Video: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl gameplay developer breakdown

Fall is rapidly approaching, which means that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s release is not that far away. It is slated to release this fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC, although Nintendo’s page has suggested an October 5th release date. Every now and then, news has been coming out with details on the game.

For example, IGN has put out a bunch of gameplay videos today. One of them includes Thaddeus Crews, Character Designer & Programmer at Ludosity, doing a breakdown of the gameplay by playing as SpongeBob and Patrick. IGN’s video was uploaded to YouTube, so you can see it down below.

      1. Looks bland. Character moves seemed very basic and the grab mechanic is a little too crazy. The strange rock paper scissor mechanic for strong attacks has potential to increase people spamming thos moves.

This will not be a very fun game, is my guess. An esports-viable game? Maybe. But not a lot of fun.

        1. And watching more gameplay videos, the sound design is atrocious! I get it would have been a huge undertakimg with licensing issues but dear god… This is not good.
