Yuji Naka says that he’s currently in the process of developing his own mobile game

Unfortunately, Yuji Naka‘s last video game project, Balan Wonderworld, didn’t do that well. The game released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC earlier this year, in March. Since then, he is no longer a part of Square Enix. However, he’s not done making games yet.

Late last week, Yuji Naka celebrated his 55th birthday. He responded to all the birthday messages from fans on Twitter by announcing that he’s “studying programs again”, and that he’s “making a simple game for smartphones with Unity”. He says that “it’s not a big deal because it’s made by one person, but programming for making games is fun. I hope you can play the app”. His tweet about the matter is down below.

  1. I want to continue the campaign to attempt to keep big the cat and omochao from appearing on future sonic games unless they are ports. We need cream the rabbit back as well as sticks the badger, Babylon rogues and Tikal.

Did you mean to say that the game they made was of very poor quality?
