The latest edition of respected UK video gaming magazine, EDGE, is available now and there’s a number of high profile games reviewed in Issue 370. The upcoming 3D Kirby game, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, has been awarded a solid 8/10 (our review will be coming soon!) There’s a number of high scoring games in this month edition of EDGE. The long-awaited Elden Ring from From Software was awarded a stunning 10/10, which is rarity for EDGE. Other games reviewed in Issue 370 include Triangle Strategy, Gran Turismo 7 and the gorgeous RPG, Tunic.
- Elden Ring – 10
- Gran Turismo 7 – 9
- Tunic – 8
- Triangle Strategy – 8
- Destiny 2: The Witch Queen – 7
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 8
- “Not that From software will be quaking in its boots., Indeed, those who’ve never understood the appeal of Kirby are unlikely to be convinced by his move into 3D. But otherwise this compact, imaginative adventure is a low key triumph, a work of great craft and wit that, unlike its lead, doesn’t bite off more than it can chew. And it only leaves you hungry for more.”
- Martha is Dead – 4
- Total War: Warhammer III – 8
- Norco – 7
- Lost Ark – 7
- CrossfireX – 3
- Far: Changing Tides – 7
See? game of the century!
I said it first!!!!
Gonna be honest the review sounds so vague and makes no sense but its still a good rating (sounds like its trying to sound spoiler free) I been hearing other reviewers saying that it’s also good, but honestly I don’t let reviewers dictate whether I’ll enjoy the game or not, I much rather look at more gameplay to give me the idea whether I’ll like it or not.
Yeah me too.
What is included in the article is just the summary. I imagine the actual body of the review will be more specific about what does and doesn’t work.
Reviews aren’t there to “dictate” whether you’ll like a game or not. They are one of many tools to help decide that. I use the Metascore, gameplay videos, and a strong understanding of my own taste all together to inform my purchase decisions and it works a treat.
I already know the point of reviewers its just I have a neutral feelings towards them they don’t actually appeal to me too much however I still watch review vids on stuff from time to time like you listed I rely on those things also reviews are usually the last thing I worried about before I purchase a game, btw your username reminds of certain madmen from a certain franchise.
Ngl, already completely sick of everything being compared to Elden Ring.
I mean, it’s a good game, but from what I’ve played and seen it’s been extremely overhyped.
It is 100% overhyped. I’m convinced none of these reviewers even finished the game.
Its the new “this looks just like botw”.
Totally agree with u!!!
I have not seen the reviews yet but I will see it until I beat the whole game first once I get it.
I’m going to stop reading the comments section because I’m just getting constant reminders that I’m poor and unemployed.
…I’m referring to the spam comments. Not the reminder that there’s so many new games to buy (or can’t buy).
Fr tho, these constant spam comments are getting reaaaaal annoying now.
Yeah, they are somehow getting through the spam filter so I will have to contact WordPress :(
Lol their not even real but I felt that pain before
Same.
