The UK really warmed to the Nintendo Switch family of systems due to the innovative form factor and solid library of games from first party games to RPGS. In the past the UK top ten software sales used to mainly consist of PlayStation and Xbox games, but now it is evenly spaced out between the big three. Games Industry journalist, Christopher Dring, has mentioned on Twitter that the latest Kirby game, the excellent Kirby and the Forgotten Land, is now the most successful Kirby game of all-time in the United Kingdom smashing all previous records held by the super-cute franchise, which is great news.

Sounds very reassuring, I still haven’t played this yet, even though I bought it on release. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it!

I never understood how software developers can see the success of a game they created and wait decades to make a sequel or don’t even make one at all.
