Nintendo has announced this morning that the Nintendo Switch family of systems have now shifted over 111.08 million units worldwide since March 2017. That’s a huge number of systems sold and Nintendo also says that the Switch has also shifted over 863.59 million units of software. To put this into perspective, the last Nintendo console, the ill-fated Wii U, only managed to shift 13.56 million units from its launch in 2012 until it was replaced by the Nintendo Switch in 2017.

Next quarter, this is going to overtake the PS4.
Very pleased for Nintendo
That will be a monumental occasion :)
Pretty mind boggling to realize that the Switch has sold more than 8 times what the Wii U sold in just about 5 & 1/2 years.
When you are video gaming personified as Nintendo is, you are rewarded.
F=ma.
And none of that money went into improving its features. Even the dead Wii U had more put into it.
