Gamescom 2022 award winners announced

After nearly a week of game announcements, new trailers and playable video game demos on the show floor, Gamescom 2022 has officially come to an end. With the event itself now just a memory, there’s only one thing left to do.

Every year, Gamescom awards take place. These awards, with various categories, are given to the best games that were featured at the event. The winners of the 2022 awards have been announced, revealing that Lies of P managed to get the most awards, taking home 3 of them. The full list of award winners can be seen down below.

  1. Literally none of these games were ever on my radar. Then again, this was a very slow year for games that I would be interested in. If not for the Steam Deck, I don’t think I would have bought a single game this year.

    Surprised the popular Elden Ring didn’t make this list, I was expecting that game to literally steal the show.

    Next year seems promising though. With games like Zelda BOTW 2, Forspoken, and Street Fighter 6

  2. Why did Pincoccsouls win the best Sony award? Nobody said anything about it being PlayStation exclusive, plus it’s supposedly a day one release for Xbox game pass.
