Nintendo has announced a number of games will be coming to the Nintendo 64 app for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. The newly announced games include Pilotwings 64, Pokemon Stadium 3, and more. Nintendo has also announced that Rare’s classic Goldeneye 007 is finally heading to the N64 app on Switch, complete with online play. Here’s all the Nintendo 64 games Nintendo has announced are coming to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack during today’s Nintendo Direct:

- Mario Party 3

That means we’ve gotten most of the most wanted games from Nintendo out of the 64 games, save for Super Smash Bros.
Here’s hoping they’ll shadow-drop games like Glover, Snowboard Kids and the Bomberman games later on, or maybe announce them towards the end of Switch’s cycle.
I would love to see all three N64 Bomberman games that made it Stateside come to NSO (64, Second Attack, and Hero).
Snowboard Kids 1 and 2 were total underappreciated gems; I’d love to see them get a second chance.
How could I forget, we’re also missing Donkey Kong 64 from the catalogue of NSO 64 games.
They actually did it. I bet that cost Ninty a pretty penny for Goldeneye 64.
The mad men, they announced Pokemon Stadium for NSO while the Gameboy games are still nowhere in sight. I’m going to wait for people to try this for the first time and say that the game sucks because they only have access to rentals.
At least pokemon stadium comes in January cause we know there gonna drip feed these, that announce lineup will end till June so I guess that gives them time to add more of whatever 64 game they’ll throw in.
I just hope they announce a Gameboy collection in the winter that somehow has compatibility with Stadium when it drops. Playing the game in Round 2 with just the rental mons is going to rely on a lot of luck, which won’t he fun.
I really do want gbc and gba so I really hope that does get announce soon.
The lineup is good… until I see that these won’t finish releasing until the end of 2023. That’s a long stretch.

The expansion pass being $50/year which is $4.16/month which is $0.35/day which people make the $50 back between 1hr-3hrs that day depending on where they work and their salary. Where was i going with this? Oh, right, i was gonna say the expansion pass being “expensive” is cuz of Goldeneye cuz of copyright reasons from the original holders. Anyways $50/year isn’t expensive cuz y’all have an income, doesn’t matter if physical job or online or allowance and it’s not like it’s $50 per month unlike buying Starbucks for around $50/day. Anyways I’m surprised they (not Rare) even said yes to Nintendo, also be thankful it’s not $100/year considering MGM would have been greedy.
If you’re worried about Nintendo underselling their service, maybe you could buy some expansion packs for people who say it’s too expensive.
