      1. They did update them, it was only software that changed for both Wii U and 3DS, while Switch saw both hardware and software updates. This is because 3DS and Wii U have been discontinued, but both still have digital eshop sales, leading to updates in their software totals. That’s why hardware is the same, but software is different.

      1. Actually, if you had opened the link I posted, they did update the numbers, the software went slightly up from 387.42 million to 389.86 million today. Wii U also saw software sales update from 103.42 million to 103.53 million. So, they are updating their numbers, just they’re so small people assume that they’re not being updated.

      2. Actually, if you read the link I posted, the numbers were updated for software. Hardware has been discontinued, exactly as I said, but software sales for the 3DS went from 387.42 million to 389.86 million now. Wii U also saw software increases from 103.42 million to 103.53 million. They haven’t produced either Wii U or 3DS, but they are still selling games for it, and updating those.

  1. So, let me clarify the statement above. Both Wii U and 3DS saw updated numbers, only they were updated software numbers, because hardware production has been ended for both systems, but both systems have eshops, and both are still selling software, hence why both saw (minimal) increases to their software totals. Both were updated, but only software sales changed.
