As promised The Game Awards nominees have been announced along with the prestigious Game of the Year nominees. There have been plenty of good games this year and The Game Awards team have whittled the Game of the Year 2022 selection down to six games. Surprisingly Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was chosen ahead of Splatoon 3 and Bayonetta 3. While it is probably unlikely to win, every votes counts. Here’s the nominees for The Game Awards – Game of the Year (Vote here):

- Elden Ring
- God of War: Ragnarok
- Horizon: Forbidden West
- Stray
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Heck yeah, Xenoblade 3. It’s not gonna win over Elden Ring or GoW, but I’m so glad it got nominated. Can’t wait to hear Xenoblade music in the GOTY medley this year

Surprised to see Xenoblade 3 there, though it’s definitely not going to win in the end.
I feel as if there’s other games that are more deserving to be there instead tbh, maybe because I wasn’t all that impressed with Xeno 3.
I guess Elden Ring wins, but would have liked to see Xenoblade or GoWR win
My GOTY is Star Ocean The Divine Force, the mini game Es’owa is alot of fun and reminds me of playing checkers. Having fun collecting all the Es’owa pieces and getting the grandmaster rank. Love how the Es’owa pieces are designd after Star Ocean characters from The Divine Force and past Star Ocean games.
Elden Ring wins game of the year.
