Best video game soundtrack nominees revealed for The Grammys 2022

The nominees for the 2022 Grammy awards have recently been announced and the category most of you will be interested in is the best video game soundtrack. The Grammys 2022 will take place on Sunday 5th February, 2023 in Los Angeles and here’s the soundtrack composers who are up for a prestigious Grammy award:

  • Austin Wintory with his score for Alien: Fireteam Elite
  • Steph Economou for Assassin’s Creed
  • The Walking Dead’s Bear McCreary for his work on Call of Duty
  • Richard Jacques for the 80s-inspired soundtrack that accompanied Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
  • Christopher Tin for his efforts on Old World from Mohawk Games

  1. Crush 40 for their years of work on the Sonic franchise…. The newest game release is one of their best libraries of work on the games thus far.

  2. No Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope nomination? Music for that game was top-tier; I’ve been listening to the whole soundtrack many times since the game was released, on Ubisoft’s YT-channel

  3. Xenoblade 3 deserves at least a nomination, if not the win. One of the best OSTs I’ve heard in a while. I can’t count the number of times I said “this music is amazing” while playing the game this summer.
