The nominees for the 2022 Grammy awards have recently been announced and the category most of you will be interested in is the best video game soundtrack. The Grammys 2022 will take place on Sunday 5th February, 2023 in Los Angeles and here’s the soundtrack composers who are up for a prestigious Grammy award:
- Austin Wintory with his score for Alien: Fireteam Elite
- Steph Economou for Assassin’s Creed
- The Walking Dead’s Bear McCreary for his work on Call of Duty
- Richard Jacques for the 80s-inspired soundtrack that accompanied Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
- Christopher Tin for his efforts on Old World from Mohawk Games

Motoi Sakuraba for the Masterpiece formally known as Star Ocean The Divine Force soundtrack.
Crush 40 for their years of work on the Sonic franchise…. The newest game release is one of their best libraries of work on the games thus far.
As Much as I love Sonic Frontiers AND Crush 40: the two did not mix this time.

No Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope nomination? Music for that game was top-tier; I’ve been listening to the whole soundtrack many times since the game was released, on Ubisoft’s YT-channel
And the Awards goes to Sparks of Hope, because music of this game was mind blowing. So, It should win
No Xenoblade 3, really? Its for sure the best soundtrack this year. No contest.
