Square Enix confirms Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters coming to Switch in the Spring

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collections for Switch, PS4 and PC

Square Enix has now confirmed that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are heading to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this Spring. Collectors of physical editions will be pleased to learn that there are two coming; the luxurious FINAL FANTASY I-VI PIXEL REMASTER – FF35th Anniversary Edition and the FINAL FANTASY I-VI COLLECTION both containing all six games. The digital editions of Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters will be available to purchase individually or as a bundle on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The physical editions of Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are now available to pre-order on the Square Enix Store.

The FINAL FANTASY I-VI PIXEL REMASTER -FF35th Anniversary Edition is a true celebration of the series, featuring some pretty awesome extras, including:

  • FINAL FANTASY I-VI COLLECTION – physical collection of all games for either PS4 or Nintendo Switch-
  • Anniversary Edition GOODS BOX.
  • A bonus lenticular sleeve for the game package.
  • 2-disc vinyl record set featuring newly arranged game music with exclusive cover artwork by Kazuko Shibuya
  • A specially compiled artbook showcasing beautiful character pixel art. 
  • Eight stylized pixel art character figures in window packaging.

  1. I notice it say’s the Pixel Remasters are coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, does it Just go without saying that it’ll be available on PS5. Because PS5 is backwards compatible and you can Just play the PS4 edition or will they actually have a current gen version available.
