The long-awaited The Legend. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to release this May and a user of the Chinese forum Tieba (which had leaked previous Nintendo Switch special edition consoles in the past) has purportedly leaked the first image of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) The image appears legitimate, but we will have to wait and see whether it is the real deal or not. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches on Nintendo Switch on 12th May, 2023.

Mmmm hard to believe if it is real or not. So, I will believe it when I see it. Until then, its fake.
If this is real, I hope the dock is sold separately. If not, I might consider getting an OLED Switch for this. I can just give my old Switch to my kid because his is probably breaking down. The fan, motor, whatever is loud as fuck. Either way, we’ll see.
Sometimes I forgot that their exist people older than me on this site, just you mentioning that you have a kid felt so out of let field lol 😂.
And here I am, old enough to be a grandfather.
Its a bit early for there to be already boxed and ready to ship consoles for a May launch, thats a lot of stock to have in storage for several months and a lot that can go wrong with sitting stock.
A lot of electronic products are obviously assembled and manufactured in China 😊
What does that have to do with my comment? Almost all the Switch hardware is made in China.
Not shocked…
Making a prototype to see if it looks good off paper could be a possibility.
^ This. Could be a dummy model. Though of course it may not be legitimate, we won’t know until Nintendo officially announces and reveals the design.
Or someone that knows what they’re doing took their base OLED Switch & either put some well made stickers on it or they painted it.
Very doubtful. This is most likely fake. They already know the specs for the skins and box and producing a dummy would be worthless to them, especially 5 months before launch. All they have to do is have the design and send it to manufacturing. This isn’t some new item they’re making they are just putting a print on an already existing model. Manufacturers do that all the time and don’t make dummies or samples 5 months in advance.
I mean to be honest; I’d be shocked if this wasn’t real. Zelda TOTK is 1 of the most anticipated games of 2023 and is 1 of Nintendo’s biggest IP’s. If Splatoon 3 can get this treatment, I see no reason why Zelda wouldn’t.
Oops! Looks real and awesome!
Once announced I’ll believe it. As for this considering it has a switch running a different game and different skins in the pictures as well I will say this is fake.
It would be nice but to have this already ready is a little too far fetched. No company has these things ready 5 months before launch, especially something they know all they have to do is put skins in it.
I don’t know what to think about it. Many got a switch oled for Christmas ( me too). If so, why can’t Nintendo announce something like that sooner? That’s why I just hope it’s fake and they’re working on a new switch.
