Update: Ubisoft announces its own Ubisoft Forward event for June.
Ubisoft, like a number of video game companies, has now announced that it has decided to snub the re-launched E3 2023 in favour of holding their own presentation. It is hardly surprising given the fact that the big three console manufacturers have ruled themselves out of E3 and the only major company looking to attend this year’s event could be Konami. The event’s organiser, Reedpop, which manages a number of video game sites and handles PAX, had hoped to revitalise the event, but it’s looking more like a wash out. E3 2023 is still scheduled for 13th June though it’s unclear whether the event has been abandoned.
“E3 has fostered unforgettable moments across the industry throughout the years. While we initially intended to have an official E3 presence, we’ve made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on 12th June in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.”

Vegeta: Nappa what are you doing?
Nappa: I’m cuddling it, Vegeta
Vegeta: It’s dead, Nappa
Nappa: NOOOOOOO
I think the better question is who actually IS attenting E3 at this point?
All the major companies seem to have dropped out already.
