VGC claims Konami will show off new Castlevania and Metal Gear Solid 3 remake at E3 2023

VGC has stated on their podcast that they have heard that Konami is looking to have a big summer showcase at E3 2023 this June (if it goes ahead) with the Japanese developer reportedly planning to showcase both a new mainline Castlevania game and the long-rumoured Metal Gear Solid 3 remake. It should be noted that Konami themselves have not announced that they are working on either franchises. One of the site’s writers said on the podcast that the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will be “somewhat of a testbed” for a new entry in the acclaimed series, though series mastermind, Hideo Kojima, is unlikely to be involved in any way.

  1. Rumors get ppl killed these days! Shouldn’t speculate or predict something that’s not coming out or a company is going to be at event like E3. The world of E3 is dying many companies are backing out.

  2. Hopefully they listen to the fans and make Castlevania like Dark Souls/Elden Ring and really high end for the new Xbox and or PS5 exclusive. Been waiting for this for years so bring it on!

  3. Well this didn’t age well over the past 72 hours given that E3 2023 is now canceled yet again.
Wouldn-t matter anyway because Konami doesn’t have any talented developers working for them anyway because they all either left or quit due to Konami being ran into the ground by corrupt greedy management.
The last few games they attempted to develop and release in-house were terrible anyway and they are incapable of producing anything good without 3rd party devs handling all of the work.
