Geoff Keighley is busy organising this year’s Summer Game Fest and the schedule for the event seems to be dripping out slowly. One of the events on the opening night will see franchise co-creator Ed Boon join Geoff live on stage to demo the new Mortal Kombat reboot which is titled, Mortal Kombat 1. We have been treated to a cinematic trailer and a release date of 19th September, but we have yet to see in-game footage. You can see that live on the opening night on Thursday, 8th June.

I thought they was showing Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay at the PlayStation showcase on May 24th. But this says “it’s the world gameplay premiere” of Mortal Kombat 1
That game is about to be a slideshow on the Switch 💀
It will probably be a different build that will run fine on Switch and by fine i mean somewhat steady 30fps (or effpus according to Mightykeef). If it’s not a different build and they make it run fine then I’ll be impressed.
It’s not the build it’s the people doing it lacking any care in the world.
9 fighters for $70 and then we will have 6 more add ons for 20-30 dollars at least 5 times over to get the whole character list.
I think I’ll pass until it is under $15 bucks for the full game and characters. May be 2 years but it is all MK is worth anymore.
