Square Enix has a few Dragon Quest related projects on the go and they have confirmed that one of the projects is a new entry in the long-running Dragon Quest Monsters series. The new Dragon Quest Monsters game is in development exclusively for the Nintendo Switch family of systems, though they wouldn’t divulge any more than that. The first game in the Dragon Quest Monsters franchise launched for the Game Boy Color back in September 1998 in the land of the rising sun.

I hope they release this one outside of Japan this time, was excited for DQMJ3 and it never got localized(thank god for language patches)
Been waiting 24 years for this announcement 😂 Biggest Dragon warrior monsters fan here. Just played it through for 200 hours last month. This makes me happy. Please do western release too, we love DWM. And please stay true to the originals ☺️ Breeding and battling
