Every now and then, Nintendo will release a day-one update for a new game that is about to launch. The update usually releases a few hours before midnight at launch day on the east coast of the US, though the exact time varies depending on the game and simply when Nintendo wants to release the update.
Well, this is no exception. Everybody 1-2-Switch has received a day one update, which brings the game to version 1.0.1. It isn’t surprising, but the update’s official patch notes don’t say much. All Nintendo says is that “various issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience”.

Patch notes:
Horace has been destroyed
We’re cancelling this dumpster fire
It’s pathetic when games get day one patches. It means the game went gold before being properly finished.
Ever heard of bugs not showing up during testing?
