The incredibly hard working creator behind Stardew Valley, Concerned Ape, has teased some new content which is coming to Stardew Valley in the form of the Version 1.6 update. He has teased that new festivals, new items, more dialogues, secrets and more, will be coming in Version 1.6. Concerned Ape has yet to announce a release date for the update, but as soon as we have more details we will let you know.

This has to be the most overrated game in history, its even a bad farming game its also decisively made to look like an indie game while a company is behind it with a huge marketing advertising deals with Nintendo etc

I’ll reply seriously, even tho I can’t tell if you’re joking. It’s kind of NOT a “farm” game. It’s themed as one, but it’s more a cross-genre resource engine rpg. Once your “farm” is able to generate mostly without input, you are then in like 95% rpg mode. I’d say the problem the game then faces is, it’s not a great rpg. It has the clock limit each day, almost like a roguelike, but the consequences become negligible once your engine is up and running — why would I care about a 1k doctor bill, when I make 100k/day? And that’s if I’m lazy.
I tell people this going in, because I took a year off the game right after buying it. I don’t care for farm games, and when I played SV as one, I couldn’t get into it. You might just be a troll, as this site is flooded with them for some reason. But if you’re not, maybe give it another try. Or try to rain people’s parade in a less cringe way.
I swear they are like The Undertaker where he says he’s gonna retire, “does” retire then comes back and the cycle begins anew. Basically they say they are done making content then they do make content and repeats the cycle. Not a bad thing cuz more content is good.
This is great. I gotta respect this developer for loving the game and its fans. Just like Yacht club with Shovelknight and Image and form with Steamworld.
Stardew valley is a fantastic game and very relaxing i highly reccomend it.
