The Pokemon Company has announced today that two classic Pokémon games will be available for Nintendo Switch Online and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers. Firstly, Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy will be available for those of you on the base subscription and those of you on the higher tier, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, will be able to play Pokemon Stadium 2 for the Nintendo 64, which will also contain various multiplayer modes with friends.

Try out the TCG game, it’s fairly addictive and fun, reminiscent of the old days of Pokémon.
Never got into the actual Pokemon card game, but i enjoy pretty much any video game with TCG gameplay mechanics. I’ll definitely be trying the Pokemon TCG game asap.
I have the Pokémon Trading Card Game on my Nintendo 3DS and I’ll get it for my Nintendo Switch after I beat it on my Nintendo 3DS, I’ve been waiting a long time to play Pokémon Stadium 2 and now I’ll be able to play it on my Nintendo Switch.
The TCG for Gameboy is what actually got me into the card game for a while. Used to collect the cards as a kid but never actually learned how to play until getting this on the Gameboy as an adult haha.
This is the first edition of the card game so it’s a really nice way to start and get an understanding of the core mechanics that are still used to this day if you decide to keep playing. Pretty fun to beat as well.
Now they just need to bring back the Gameboy Printer for switch so I can print my cards again 😂
