The latest Famitsu readers most wanted charts have come through from the land of the rising sun and the game which currently occupies the top spot is the gorgeous Super Mario RPG remake for the Nintendo Switch, which is scheduled for release on Friday, 17th November. The next game in the Famitsu readers most wanted list is yet another RPG, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. All Weekly Famitsu reader votes were cast between 8th August, 2023 and 16th August, 2023.

Super Mario RPG is definitely my most wanted game, along with Disgaea 7 and Sword Art Recollection.
I still can’t believe the Mario RPG remaster is happening. Hopefully, this will mean we finally get a proper sequel.
