Nintendo has released a new batch of customizable user icons for its beloved Animal Crossing franchise, which are free to download for Nintendo Switch Online members. The user icons are from the most recent entry in the franchise, Animal Crossing: New Horizon. To claim the icons, all you need to do is turn on your Switch console and click the Nintendo Switch Online icon at the bottom of the home screen. You can customise the icons to your liking as there are interchangeable backgrounds and frames. The selection will be available until 6th November.
Still think Nintendo was crazy to stop releasing incremental updates to this game. One of the best-selling games of all time with the perfect format for DLC (new villagers, furniture, items, etc.) and there were only a handful of meaningful content updates. Maybe they’re saving it for the next entry
