Famitsu awards Persona 5 Tactica 33/40, and more

The latest edition of Weekly Famitsu is now available, and this week’s edition contains a number of reviews, including one for the latest Just Dance game and Persona 5 Tactica. Surprisingly, Tactica didn’t get the highest score this week; that went to the popular Japanese board game Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru!, which received a score of 35/40. Here are all the review scores from Issue 1823:

  • Eiga Sumikko Gurashi Tsugihagi Koujou no Fushigi-na Ko Game de Asobou! Eiga no Sekai (Switch) – 7/7/7/7 [28/40]
  • Just Dance 2024 (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch) – 8/8/8/7 [31/40]
  • Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! (Switch) – 9/8/9/9 [35/40]
  • Persona 5 Tactica (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/9/8/8 [33/40]
  • Yohane the Parhelion: BLAZE in the DEEPBLUE (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/8/7/7 [30/40]

  1. I hope someone at Atlus doesn’t get fired for accidentally releasing Persona 5 Tactica a week early on steam.

  2. P5 Tactica got a lower score than Strikers? That’s unexpected, and I think that’s the lowest score they’ve given a P5 game.

And no hate to Strikers because it is a good game, but sometimes it, like Dynasty Warriors games often do, just become repetitive, mindless button mashing sessions, whereas Tactica is a strategy game which tend to be more engaging and require more forethought by the player.
