Square Enix’s Yasumi Matsuno, who was behind many a hit game including Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy XII, has replied to a fan who was asking about the Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster. Mr. Matsuno replied back to the fan to inform them that “there are no plans for remastering.” However, Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster was one of the many games mentioned in the infamous Nvidia leak, with most of the titles proving to be legitimate. We will have to wait and see what’s what happens with Final Fantasy Tactics.

I would perfer a Final Fantasy Tactics remaster or remake over a FF9 remake, a proper remake of Final Fantasy Tactics would be awesome.

Why they opted to remaster Crystal Chronicles before Tactics is beyond me, but at least it’s finally happening.
