Yahoo Japan Search Awards has confirmed that the most searched for video game in The Land of the Rising Sun in 2023 was Nintendo’s critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While Yahoo isn’t massively popular anymore here in the West, it remains a dominant search engine in Japan. Here are the five most searched-for games in Japan on Yahoo during 2023.

Yes… the most-searched thing on a dying search engine… in Japan-only. Yahoo Search has about 2.72% of the global market share with search engines, Bing has 9.19%, and Google has 83.49%.

Personally i’d say i probably spent the most time searching for “Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life” and “Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos”
