Nintendo has announced that the long-awaited Donkey Kong Country attraction will be up and running at Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan in Spring 2024. The attraction has been in the works for a while, so it is good to have a release window for when park attendees will be able to sample it. The Donkey Kong Country expansion to Super Nintendo World will include a special new Donkey Kong-themed roller coaster which will delight fans. The official slogan for the Donkey Kong Country attraction is “Play Wild!”
“The area will include a new rollercoaster called Mine Cart Madness, which will take riders through the jungle as Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong protect the Golden Banana from the Tiki Tak Tribe and will even contain a “leap across a collapsed track”.
