All things must come to an end eventually, and The Game Awards are no different. The show has concluded for another year. A lot of games were announced, and a lot of awards were handed out. So, now that things have wrapped up, the award winners have all been officially announced.
A lot of the winners aren’t really all that surprising. Nintendo, meanwhile, have absolutely nothing to complain about. The company didn’t announce a single thing at the show this year, but they managed to take home awards in multiple categories for multiple games. Pikmin 4, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom all managed to win one award. Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan’s Wake 2, however, took home quite a few awards. - Baldur’s Gate III (Larian Studios)

Hey, Nintendo brought home some pretty good awards 😎
Well deserved rewards too.
Agreed 💯
BG3 was well deserved
The important thing is that Dave The Diver didn’t win Best Indie.
I didn’t think Zelda would win GotY (the consensus among many is that Baldur’s Gate III is amazing while TotK is also amazing but kinda same-y, and I can understand that), but it’s nice to see it win one category.
I’d like to think that Pikmin 4 winning Best Strategy Game will spur Nintendo to put more resources into the series, so we don’t have a decade-long wait for new entries. It also helps that the game sold very well.
Honestly, I was calling it since February this year. People were raving about BG3 and talking about it way more than any other game this year, even ToTK. They seem to award the game that has the most discussions surrounding it every year.
The biggest loser of this event was Nintendo and their $#1++¥ Switch hardware. Bring on the Switch 2 already, which we know is going to be weaker and more expensive than current gen consoles, that are already a few years old.
If only you could be blocked. This troll routine is so old. Meanwhile you’re always on posting on Nintendo news sites proving you have nothing better to do, ever, and that is SAD.
Sickr please ban this guy, not this troll routine again, remember what happened in the past.
The funniest thing about this is Sony only winning the one category that people call their games 😂
Why have my comments been replies to other people lately? 🤔
Why should I be banned? I haven’t done anything wrong. It’s not trolling.
Lots of big games announced at The Game Awards, none of them coming to Switch. Why is that? It’s because the Switch is old, it was outdated tech in 2017 and in 2023 it’s ancient.
It can’t even get proper ports of old Batman games. Whatever about Knight. City and Asylum are over a decade old Xbox360 games. It’s embarrassing, as are countless other 3rd party ports.
Plus, Switch 3rd party physical releases are a farce, most companies won’t use more than an 8GB cartridge, and a select few will use 16GB cartridges, which is nothing in this day and age. The Switch’s predecessor had 25GB discs as standard. We’re supposed to progress with each new generation, not regress.
man, this guy is giving me some serious Obinna vibes…which is a bad thing, at least obinna was just a kid rooting for attention, I support the notion of getting his sorry ass banned.
I’m 100 percent serious. I always thought Stranga WAS Obinna 😂
What?!!!
No f***ing way, i had enough when obinna started saying that i married Selina Ruiz and had a strange daughter called stragüita.
Oooh I remember that 🤣🤣🤣 man that time was priceless. It was a chaos in here. You, Obinna, nDub, Paidenthusiast, Shinobi, Nintendo, SimplyG, and who could forget NC & Iceazema
Don’t forget nintendo is my blood and hey it’s guy, those guys were the best at pushing his buttons.
this link2metroid sh1t made me remember the ban obinna campaign.
Lol at times I had the feeling that Sickr was Obinna himself too, and that’s why he wasn’t banned. But then again, I also though you were Obinna, sickr, Anubis, and Iceazema lol did he ever get banned though?
I got the impression that Sickr didn’t ban him out of pity. The only one who got the ban hammer was NIMB when he doxxed Obinna.
Quadraxis had lots of sock puppets, i don’t know if you remember Bensm, he was a gay guy who had a Katy Perry pic and by the way Quadraxis preferences were always the worst kept secret, estoczero was other person who was known as gabe newell and valve admiral glados and failed miserably to do an enciclopedia dramatica article on Obinna, looking back it was a relief that he didn’t get an article…I accept and regret that we were going too far but it is still funny to remember how brainless we used to be.
Yes I remember them. He had a bit of an army that defended him for a while. Man, I don’t remember the Doxxing 😂 is this why he made that almost 40 minute video about this site and the commenters? Nah don’t regret it, it’s all in the pass. So many made this site so great back them. Hollow Grape and Jaded dry bones come too mind. And now that I think about it, Ridley has been around for a good 10 years too.
I’m 100% sure that jaded drybones used to be quadraxis boyfriend. ah yes, the infamous 40 minutes tantrum video, i never got to watch it completely but that video was in response to the ban campaign and the worst part is that he insulted women and every word that he said only made things worse, i think it was lamatsu who started the ban sasori hash tag and she was part of the lesbian army, one thing that puzzled me is how she achieved to get information about the trolls. Ridley is the same guy who posed as the fake shuhei yoshida withbkaz pic, isn’t he? because he always praising yoshida and vice versa.
Have I been here since 2013? I know I got active here around the same time I drifted away from Gaia Online which was 2014, I believe.
If I remember correctly, you used to advocate for Ridley for Smash on the Wii U before it releasesd, and that was before 2013 back they were still announcing the characters, when the excuse was that he was too big.
2012 is starting to feel like it’s the right answer for the question of when I started posting here, so 2 years b4 2014.
||Hollowgrapej was a traitor of the empire with his constant flip flopping…||
||My secret…exposed…||
SimplyG… Another name I recognize.
I don’t remember that person.
I remember the name but not the specifics. Nothing that sticks out, anyway.
He would always show up to defend Sony when a PS article would show up but he was never too aggressive about things. I believe he also worked in the industry, because he always knew when certain games would come to the PS Vita. I would always ask him about unannounced games and he in a way conform them lol
Shit! facepalm I mean another name I haven’t heard in awhile!
Selina Ruiz. Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. As for the fake Shuhei guy, that was never me. (I did have a Sony phase, though, after getting a PS4 in 2016.) Only ever been Kalas & Ridley here. (I think I used Sagi once.) It wasn’t til I changed to Bray (least his first name, anyway) that I used a real life person’s name. (Least I’m pretty sure of that.)
I don’t freaking remember well every detail but some of those quadraxis followers had true information on various trolls who used to lurk here, i think they had information on hollowgrapej, that lieutenant cereza, estoc loser, michael ponder jr, some of them were reported to quadraxis here and some other were discussed on Skype at the time.
one thing that still makes me scratch my head is how they managed to get iceazeama banned from miiverse, one of them said that it was almost impossible because at the time it looked like the mods had a hate boner towards iwata and most of ice’s post were disrespectful towards the man and no matter how many times they reported the mods never raised a finger.
Do you remember the Martin Luther King incident? man, that was one of the lowest point of obinna’s “career” here…that and the women bashing and by the way, there were proofs that his misogynistic behavior was instilled by speed akiote.
Man, the selina ruiz portion of the article included me, it said that i rode a bike from Vietnam to New Jersey just to r*pe Selina but it didn’t do any sh1t to Obinna because he was already infatuated with Sickr and that i had to marry her at gunpoint and that Sasori think we had a strange daughter…
Wow. I missed out on a LOT of the shit that happened off-site. I vaguely remember the MLKJ thing, though. Remember it happening but not the specific details. Sadly, it wouldn’t be the last time I’d hear stupid shit about well loved historical figures. (Like Elvis. But meh.) They’re dead & I doubt they’d give a shit. I know I won’t once I shuffle off this mortal coil.
Nintendo may have only won a couple of awards, but was nominated for most of them, for multiple games. That is in itself a win.
You know what?
I am going to feed the troll, take this 💩💩💩
I’m surprise Nintendo didn’t reaffirm us that they have games which is quite shocking tbh.
BG 3 was so very well deserved. I always love those gaming events!
