Monster Hunter Wilds announced

Nintendo didn’t officially announce anything at The Game Awards this year. However, that doesn’t mean that Nintendo fans don’t have anything to be interested in. In fact, the very last game that had been revealed at The Game Awards may make some Nintendo fans very curious.

You see, Capcom announced a new Monster Hunter game. The game is called Monster Hunter Wilds, and it will be releasing in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. What may make you intrigued is that the Nintendo Switch isn’t listed. There have been rumors that a new Monster Hunter is being prepared for the Nintendo Switch’s successor, and if this is the game that the rumor was referring to, that may explain why. Nevertheless, you can see the reveal trailer down below.

  1. Another year, another major disappointment from Nintendo at The Game Awards. We can only hope that Nintendo release decent new hardware in the next year. Decent, huh? The bar is so low for Nintendo. You just know the Switch 2 is going to cost more than current gen hardware, but have specs of last gen hardware.

    1. Yes, they are late with their next device. But you are incorrect on the specs side. If it has advanced raytracing and dlss 3.5, games could look better than ps5.

Do know that ps5 specs were already outdated during launch compared to pc. Even after 1,5y, it was already below a midgen gaming pc configuration. Yes that much behind.
Its portable, so if it would cost as much as ps5, it would be a fair price. But i think it would be even lower.

      1. Nintendo existence make that guy seethe to no end. Nothing short of Nintendo going bankrupt will make him happy. Just stop responding to that troll. Logic doesn’t work on him.

  2. Im just glad MH Wilds is releasing on multiple platforms at release and not a Switch exclusive title like MH Rise. Although if it hadn’t been for MR Rise and Disgaea 6 being exclusive to the Switch i probably wouldn’t have ever purchased a Switch. I can wait until 2025, heck i waited for MR Rise to get ported on PSN and im already waiting for GTA 6 sometime in 2025.

    1. I’ve had a hunch for a while, but this comment proves it. You ARE a Sony Fanboy. Okay, won’t waste anymore time reading/replying to your comment from now on. Almost in the same tier as troll2metroid.

      1. You just now realized im a Sony fan “i thought i was slow” Anyhow, what’s wrong with that? Like you can’t reply to post because someone likes something you don’t? Somewhere i think a Call of Duty lobby is missing a troll…you won’t reply to my post and yet you’ll make an alt account!
News flash – i don’t give a money flip about if some random reply to my post, im not on this public fourm because i need approval if i can like something that others don’t. If you won’t reply to my post then maybe you can read this one until you like it. Like i gave a money flip about some randoms opinion “LOL”

  3. Just reading the comment section lmao. I’m a handheld FanBoy, so bring on the Psp/ psvita/ ds/3ds/ switch/ steam deck/ ayaneo/ gpd/ oxp/ anbernic etc… they all play games I’ve enjoyed… I also own a ps5 ( I hardly use it though, due to the steam deck) regardless the console wars ended long long ago. Just play your games on what whatever system of pc gaming handhelds that you enjoy. I also mainly play VR games on my Quest 3 (Standalone or PC )

  4. It’s interesting to hear about the new Monster Hunter game announcement! While it’s a bit disappointing that it hasn’t been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, it’s not uncommon for developers to prioritize newer, more powerful consoles for certain releases.

  5. Be aware that the PS5’s launch specifications were already out of date when compared to the PC. It was still less powerful when play geometry dash lite than a mid-range gaming PC setup even after 1.5 years. Yes, that much behind.
