A new Banjo Kazooie game could well be on its way, if the latest online rumour is correct. Industry insider Nate Drake has claimed that the project is currently in active development and was greenlit by Microsoft some time early last year. Development on the project seems to be in the early stages and it is not clear which studio would be handling the new Banjo Kazooie game as it is reasonably unlikely to be Rare. As always this is a rumour, so please take it with a grain of salt.

I mean, the last appearance of Banjo was in Super Smash Bros, you can play Banjo 1 and 2 on NSO right now. And while not likely, this new Banjo game could come to switch at least eventually
Like if there were rumors of a new Monster Hunter, or Sonic game, sure not Nintendo but Nintendo Adjacent
