Princess Peach: Showtime! has been rated for Nintendo Switch

“ Peach your so violent” now my nearly 9 yr old daughter will have to wait to play this game, she’s currently engrossed in animal crossing
I so ready for this but knowing Nintendo they won’t start advertising this game until next month
At least this Peach is still nice and lovely unlike Bitch Peach from the 2023 Movie.

I doubt this will affect the number of units sold for Princess Peach Showtime, look how many kids play GTA and that’s rated mature by the ESRB.
I mean, I don’t have any data/numbers correlating to age restrictions and sales on games, but I doubt the 10+ will turn that many parents away from buying A Princess Peach game for their kids.
Peach may be cute and beautiful, but don’t let her beauty fool you.
I’m curious to see what, exactly, is in PPS that they think warrants an E+10. Honestly sometimes I think the ESRB gets ratings wrong. 15 years later I still don’t see what got LoZ: Spirit Tracks an E+10 when it’s honestly no more violent than its predecessor Phantom Hourglass- in fact, I’d say they kinda of got the ratings backwards on those games (my main case being Link falling in lava- in PH he sinks into it while flailing in an attempt to get out VS in ST he rockets up into the air swatting at his burning behind. I would argue that the former scenario is more distressing to view than the latter.).
