The Pokemon Company has confirmed it is set to donate 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross Society and other support organisations due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake which struck on 1st January. The earthquake of magnitude 7.6 caused immense damage and destroyed homes and infrastructure. The Pokemon Company has joined other businesses in the country which have donated money to relief efforts.
Thanks to Greatsong1 for the news tip.

Now who will donate money so they can fix Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
imagine being so mad about some glitches in a video game you’ll prioritize it over a disaster that ruined peoples lives and consider it a joke
It’s crazy what people get so bent out of shape over.
Imagine jumping to a conclusion and analyzing post making something from nothing. Never mentioned one thing about the disaster nor did i imply it was a joke. How you came to that conclusion based off what i posted is beyond me. I clearly said who will donate money so they can fix Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, didn’t mention anything about the disaster. Just because i didn’t mention the disaster doesn’t mean i prioritize Pokemon over it. But hey, nice job jumping to a conclusion.
This sure was a horrible earthquake. I hopenthe people will get the needed help as soon as possible.
Having a earthquake like that is very tragic these days. Besides earthquakes can happen in some states. I’m glad the Pokemon company donate money to help people from this.
For those who don’t know, this should equate to roughly $346,000 USD.
