Capcom has confirmed to the Japanese news site 4Gamer that the Ace Attorney series is running at full steam, and while the established company may have been busy with other projects, the Ace Attorney series will not be stopping anytime soon. Here’s what Kenichi Hashimoto, who was the producer behind the Apollo Justice re-release, had to say to the publication:
“At this time there is nothing to talk about, but we have gained a lot of knowledge about the RE Engine. I can say that the Ace Attorney series will not be stopping, so in that sense I think you can look forward to what is coming.”

If Ace Attorney is “running at full steam” can we get both Ace Attorney Investigations to be released and localized outside Japan?
The first did come to the west. But yeah, It would be cool to have an “Investigations Collection”. Though they would most likely have to redo all the art like the original trilogy.
Capcom: please understand that particular game is not for filthy Western eyes to see and we must keep games to ourselves but if u must insist on playing learn Japanese and not from anime filthy neckbeards.
Capcom, instead of just telling us this, please SHOW us that the series is still going strong.
As nice as it is to have the Apollo trilogy on modern devices, it’s still been far too long since the last truly new Ace Attorney game released (we’ve literally had nothing but ports since 2017). TGAAC was wonderful to finally get localised, but it still wasn’t a “new” game.
This has been the longest gap between new AA games in the series history, and the fact that they apparently still have nothing to talk about regarding it’s future after all this time greatly worries me.
Just recently got into the series, so I have a lot of catching up to do, but the one I’m currently playing is a hell of a thrill ride. So the more Ace Attorney, the better!
You know the best way to show us the AA series is, obviously, not stopping Capcom? Officially announce Ace Attorney 7 (which we know exist) ASAP.
How about giving some of that love to Mega Man, Capcom?
We get one megaman collection like once a year…
Hopefully we see something soon to corroborate this statement. Blind faith only takes you so far.
Lots of good news popping up lately.
