Game Informer is reporting that Sonic Superstars owners can get a free Shadow costume and they won’t have long to wait to try it out. The Shadow skin will be arriving on 15th February and will be a free download. The news comes after it was officially revealed that Sonic Generations has been revamped in the form of Sonic x Shadow Generations which is heading to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms this autumn.

This may be a hot take, but I would rather have a costume than the actual character; I love shadow, but as someone who’s grown to appreciate continuity and storytelling (blame it on my writer instincts), having the actual character in the game would kind of take me out of it and kill my suspension of disbelief
