Rumour: Yoko Taro has apparently teased Nier 3 at concert

Nier Automata anime Art-work

It has been a while since we have had a new game in the Nier series so it seems one will come eventually given how prominent the IP is. Fans have recently been attending the Nier: Orchestra Concert which has been touring at different stops throughout the globe and have been reporting that something called Nier Repent has been teased by the game’s director, Yoko Taro. At the end of the event in London, Taro took to the stage and informed the fans that the president of Square Enix was in the crowd and that if they wanted an Automata sequel to give the loudest applause of the night. While this was going on, the screens in the background lit up with REPENT, which finally turned into, “R3PENT.” Which seems to be an indication that the next Nier game could be titled Nier 3: Repent.

    1. (Automata Spoilers)
Well, Automata and replicant are hundred of years apart, so It is not difficult to imagine a sequel in the distant future. Maybe they managed to recreate the replicant proyect and humans are back, who knows. There are still many possibilities.

I Love that series so much

  1. Nier 3 has been a thing for some time now. Even if its a mobile gatcha game, Nier Reincarnation is the latest chapter in the Nier saga. Its story is tied to the other games (especially with its recent chapters including characters from the Automata stage plays).
Without spoiling the story, the events in reincarantion could be hinting at something different tied to Taro’s latest teases.
(apologies for any grammar/spelling mistakes – English is a second language)
